Payment processing and identity verification are handled by third-party providers. Clipy does not store full payment card numbers, bank credentials, or identification documents.
For marketplace transactions, Clipy or its payment partner may hold a Buyer’s funds in escrow to facilitate a deal, and may collect and share limited payout and identity information (such as a payout wallet address or details required for identity, fraud, and anti-money-laundering checks) with that partner as required to release funds and comply with law.

If you use the Clipy Marketplace, we collect the information in your Listings (such as the account username, platform, follower and view counts, and any screenshots you upload) and the messages and files exchanged in a deal room. Deal-room communications are monitored and retained for safety, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution, and are visible to the other party to the deal and to Clipy administrators. Do not share information in a deal room that you do not want the counterparty or Clipy to see.
